How to choose your porcelain tile
A porcelain tile floor is today the most balanced option for any project: it combines the strength of a technical material with the ability to reproduce wood, marble, stone, or concrete in a way no other finish can match, and with maintenance that is handled with water and a neutral cleaner. The real difference between one porcelain tile and another lies in the body. All our production starts with rectified white body, which translates into a denser piece with virtually zero absorption, perfectly straight edges that allow minimal grout joints, and color stability that does not degrade over the years or under solar radiation.
To make the right choice, it helps to follow this order. First, the use: the level of traffic and exposure to water determine the finish, and here grip solves outdoor areas and wet zones, while matte, satin, polished, and velvet cover interiors depending on how much light you want to reflect. Then the format: large format reduces joints, simplifies maintenance, and expands the perception of space, while elongated formats and multiformat layouts allow more characterful patterns. And finally the design, where the appearance and tone decide the personality of the project: wood-look for warmth, marble-look for a statement, stone and concrete looks for a natural or contemporary feel, and colors and decorative pieces when the floor needs to be the star.
We manufacture in Zacatecas, with 100% Mexican production, and that translates into two advantages that are noticeable on site: immediate inventory availability and delivery times that do not depend on imports. We are also the only company in Mexico that manufactures 20 mm-thick porcelain tile and that polishes its own product, with a third polishing module that delivers more shine and a flat surface without waves, and the only one with EPD-certified porcelain tiles, valid for LEED points. If you are specifying a project, our technical team can help you align the usage requirements with the design and prepare any technical documentation you need.
